CONTINUING EDUCATION

WVOTA offers multiple continuing education options. Our primary offering is our Annual Conference typically held in October of every year at rotating locations around the state. This one-day conference offering allows attendees to pick between two tracks of workshops and most attendees can accumulate 6 Contact hours. WVOTA members enjoy discounted registration fees.

Additional offerings for WVOTA members include Webinars, the Spring Symposium, and practitioner resources for various practice settings. We also notify members of other free or low-cost CE offerings throughout the state. If you have a CE offering you would like our members to know about reach out to the website editor, Diana Davis:  [email protected]

WVOTA also offers a free Continuing Education Tracker for members. Members who attend WVOTA-sponsored Continuing Education events will be issued a certificate of attendance but will also have their attendance automatically added to the tracker so the member can always find a record of completed activities. Members can also enter information for continuing education completed outside of WVOTA to create a comprehensive tracker. Members can then view and print their education records for use in licensure audits or verification of hours for specialty certifications.
