State Hill Day 2023 was a rousing success!

On Tuesday, February 14th 50 Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, OT and, OTA students visited the capitol to advocate for the clients of OT and raise awareness of the profession. Members of the Legislative Committee

 Led by the WVOTA Legislative Committee of Mary Hager, Jackie Hurt, Sarah Black, Coty Dennler (not pictured), and President, Jacob Greenfield members of WVOTA met with members of the House of Delegates and the State Senate to advocate for Fair Co-Pay legislation and OT's role in meeting the mental health needs of West Virginians. In addition members of WVOTA manned tables in the rotunda to increase awareness of OT through interactive tables with plenty of giveaways! WVOTA Student Members promoting OT
